Absolutely. SUCASA® Homes are Certified Class 1a Dwellings, which means they are classified as Primary and Secondary Dwelling/Homes under the NCC of Australia. They meet all relevant building codes and standards of a conventional house.
Do I need council approval for a SUCASA® home?
Yes. Local zoning and building regulations require council approval. Our team will guide you through the process, starting with a Certifier Pre-Checklist to identify the feasibility of your site and to make the approval journey as smooth as possible.
What size homes does SUCASA® offer?

We can join two SUCASA® units side-by-side, linked by a deck and a skillion roof, to create larger living areas and additional bedrooms.
Can the floor plans be customised?
Yes. Keeping in mind the flexible nature of the homes, we offer various layouts. Our design team will assist in providing SUCASA® design feel uniquely yours.
Does SUCASA® manage the whole process?
Yes. We provide a turnkey service. From site and planning approvals to construction, delivery, installation, and final handover. We take care of everything.
Who installs the homes?
Our skilled team of QBCC-licensed builders and trades handle the entire setup. From 7 to 14 days is all that is required on site depending on your inclusions.
Do you handle the footings?
We will. We use adaptable engineered footing systems, a fast, low impact solution. no concrete trucks, no heavy earthmoving. For sloping sites, some earthworks may be required, but we’ll assess that during the site check.
How long does it take from order to move-in?
Factory fabrication to turnkey varies based on personal touches requested. Describing your new homes journey, begins with Council, Factory Fabrication, Site preparation and Piers, Delivery and On-site assembly. In most cases, you can expect to move in within 22 weeks of placing your order, depending on design complexity and council approvals.
Do you offer fixed-price quotes?

Yes. 2.4 m ceilings for all habitable areas or where there’s a sloping ceiling, at least two-thirds of the area must be above 2.4 m is a National Code of Construction (NCC) requirement.
Do I still need local building permits?
Yes. Although SUCASA® Homes are Licenced Builder and Engineer certified, you’ll still need local planning approval, building permits, and inspections. We manage this entire process, working with councils and certifiers to keep your new home’s journey on track and running smoothly.
What is an expandable prefab home?
An expandable prefab is a hybrid home, it combines factory controlled manufacturing with limited on site construction. After site preparation and the piers are installed, your home is delivered and it unfolds / expands to create a spacious living area.
